Migrants, Languages and Intercultural Spaces

PhD proposals on the experience of migrants in new and changing language environments are of particular interest. Projects could focus on ethnographies of cultural interactions in specific settings (Poles in Scotland for example) or on policy issues in relation to migrants in particular states. Proposals relating to migrant memoirs and literature in translation will also be considered.
